The work, which aims to be completed in January, has been funded thanks to a £27,000 donation by the Leyton Orient Supporters’ Club supplemented by a £3,000 donation by the Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust.

David Dodd, Chairman of the Leyton Orient Supporters’ Club said, “The safety and comfort of O’s fans is imperative and it therefore gives the Supporters Club pleasure in being able to make a £27,000 donation towards the imminent repairs to the damaged section of the East stand. It’s the kind of project that LOSC has been happy to be associated with over the past forty years and we look forward to seeing the stand fully operational again soon and ready to accommodate the growing number of fans coming to O’s home games. We welcome the assistance of the Leyton Orient Fans Trust in the project.”

Jonathan Kaye, the secretary of the Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust, added: “LOFT is pleased to be able to make a donation from our general funds to help the club get the East Stand repaired as soon as possible. We’re also glad of the opportunity to partner with our friends at the Supporters Club in this project. It’ll be great to see the East Stand back in full use again!”
