Visitors, including away supporters, are generally made welcome at the club whenever we are open. Be aware though that the club is very popular and can get extremely crowded - just before and after matches in particular. At such times, and subject to the absolute discretion of the door stewards, we may have to restrict entry to members and their guests only.
An entry fee of £1 is payable on the door for visitors and guests.
(This fee is waived for CAMRA members, who are admitted free on production of a current CAMRA membership card, provided numbers/space permits.)
Entrance is free at all other times when we are open.
Restricted Admission Arrangements
There are certain matches, where particularly large crowds are expected, or where the police require it, when admission to the Club is restricted to members and their guests only in order to prevent dangerous overcrowding of the club. These restrictions generally apply before the game only but are at the discretion of the door stewards. Where we believe in advance that these restrictions may be necessary then this will be notified on the website. We do try to keep restricted sessions to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
