On Monday 1 May we saw the return of the Star Man Awards Presentation Dinner held at the Prince Regent Hotel, Woodford Green where some three hundred guests gathered to celebrate the long-awaited return of the End of Season dinner and dance.
LOSC chairman David Dodd opened the proceedings by welcoming the guests and asking them to join in a moment of remembrance for the late Justin Edinburgh who had been present at the previous dinner in 2019, having guided the Football Club to the National League Championship and a return to the English Football League.

In attendance were O’s Chairman Nigel Travis, Principal Investor Kent Teague, directors David Travis, Matt Porter and Martin Ling. A rapturous welcome was given to Richie Wellens and his coaching team and to the 2022/23 League 2 Championship playing squad and backroom staff. Special guests from seasons past were warmly welcomed on stage – Carl Griffiths, Paul Hyde, Alan Comfort, Peter Kitchen and Steve Castle.

This part of the evening was sponsored by Adam Francis of AJF Plastering.
Also present were four of the Women’s 2022/23 Championship winning team who won a special award for their achievements this season.
Charlotte Lynch, Ebony Heath, Katie Hunt and Lola Durojaiye from the Championship winning Leyton Orient Women’s team were in attendance.
David Dodd thanked the guests and the various award sponsors for their support and the LOSC Committee members for their continued hard work and loyalty.
The evening was organised and co-hosted by Committee members Linda Broughan (Social Secretary) and Keren Harrison (Membership Secretary) who were presented with champagne in appreciation of their splendid efforts.
